I've been using this liquid foundation from Elf this week and honestly speaking, this is one heavy duty liquid foundation for my skin type! By the way, I have an oily-combination skin. I tend to be a bit dry during the winter on my cheeks and very oily on the T-Zone whole year long!
First things first, here are some photos for you guys! :)
It comes with a pump dispenser.
The pump is easy to control so no product is wasted! :)
Here is the shade of Sand.
Swatch and blending ... I have no primer here.
Blending ...
blended!!
I purchased this from a reputable Yahoo! Auction Hong Kong Seller for HKD $60 in Sand. It is a perfect match for my NC25/NW25 skintone and I've been loving it each day!
I've been testing this with different kinds of primers each day of the week and no matter what primer I was using, it is long wearing. I know I've been raving too much about this foundation, and it is because it is cheap and has a good quality. What more should I ask for? :)
I've been wearing it for 5-8 hours straight and of course with my oily skin, I have to blot it with my Elf Studio Pressed Powder. It doesn't cake up and stands the heat and sweat here in Hong Kong.
Here are some differences with the different primers I have been using:
1. With Laneige Makeup Primer Sebum Control: Kept my makeup in place and less blotting.
2. With Elf Studio Mineral Infused Primer: No blotting at all! Very light and seems like I'm not wearing any makeup at all. :)
3. With Garnier Skin Renew BB Cream as a primer / base: It diminished my red skin blotches and my skin looks more even together with this foundation. And long wearing as well with a radiant dewy finish!
4. With Juju Aquamoist Base: Very moisturizing yet not sticky. This feels I am wearing makeup but doesn't cake up. Long wearing as well and makeup stays in place for the whole day.
In conclusion, I am enjoying this and ....
DEFINITELY REPURCHASING THIS! :)
Thank you for reading and please share your insights if you have used this foundation before. I would love to hear from you guys!
