Elf Flawless Finish Foundation SPF 15 Oil Free Review

Posted by Rica at 12:04 PM 0 comments
I've been using this liquid foundation from Elf this week and honestly speaking, this is one heavy duty liquid foundation for my skin type! By the way, I have an oily-combination skin. I tend to be a bit dry during the winter on my cheeks and very oily on the T-Zone whole year long!

First things first, here are some photos for you guys! :)

It comes with a pump dispenser.

The pump is easy to control so no product is wasted! :)

Here is the shade of Sand.

Swatch and blending ... I have no primer here.

 Blending ...

blended!!

I purchased this from a reputable Yahoo! Auction Hong Kong Seller  for HKD $60 in Sand. It is a perfect match for my NC25/NW25 skintone and I've been loving it each day!

I've been testing this with different kinds of primers each day of the week and no matter what primer I was using, it is long wearing. I know I've been raving too much about this foundation, and it is because it is cheap and has a good quality. What more should I ask for? :)

I've been wearing it for 5-8 hours straight and of course with my oily skin, I have to blot it with my Elf Studio Pressed Powder. It doesn't cake up and stands the heat and sweat here in Hong Kong.

Here are some differences with the different primers I have been using:

1. With Laneige Makeup Primer Sebum Control: Kept my makeup in place and less blotting.

2. With Elf Studio Mineral Infused Primer: No blotting at all! Very light and seems like I'm not wearing any makeup at all. :)

3. With Garnier Skin Renew BB Cream as a primer / base: It diminished my red skin blotches and my skin looks more even together with this foundation. And long wearing as well with a radiant dewy finish!

4. With Juju Aquamoist Base: Very moisturizing yet not sticky. This feels I am wearing makeup but doesn't cake up. Long wearing as well and makeup stays in place for the whole day.

In conclusion, I am enjoying this and ....

DEFINITELY REPURCHASING THIS! :)

Thank you for reading and please share your insights if you have used this foundation before. I would love to hear from you guys!

Chanel Chance Eau Tendre EDT and Hair Mist

Posted by Rica at 8:42 AM 0 comments

Today I am going to review a different beauty product. In fact, different from the ones that I usually review.

For this month, I purchased a hair mist from the Chanel Chance Collection. I am not sure when was this released but I am pretty sure that this was released together with the two new colored Chanel Chance Perfumes named "Eau Tendre" and "Eau Fraiche."

You guys may be wondering why I purchased this, right? As you guys may not know (but my husband knows me well when it comes to this problem. LOL!), I hate, hate, HATE it whenever my hair is smelling like food or smoke after having barbecues or a sizzling hot plate, etc. That's why whenever we dine outside, we always opt out dining in some fancy restaurant that involves cooking or have smoke. Finding this hair mist is a big problem solver for us!! Especially, I miss eating sizzling plates already... LOL.

I bought this one over Yahoo! Auctions Hong Kong from a reliable seller for HKD $200. Great find, right? The bottle was broken but I really don't have no problems with that as long as the spray is working properly dispensing the right amount that I needed.

It comes in 100mL in a metal bottle with a spray dispenser. I always keep this inside my bag for emergency use.

By the way, I purchased this together with the Chanel Chance Eau Tendre EDT in 100mL for HKD $520. What a bargain for me!

The scent is very light and floral but I don't mind using this for my hair all year round but for sure the EDT will be stashed and used more during the spring / summer season as it is more suitable during those months.

As of now, since fall is just about to start here in Hong Kong, I'm still enjoying this great find!

Are you also like me who hates having the heavy food scent on your hair? How do you deal with it? Please do share at the comment box down below.

Thanks for reading!

Loves,

Rica
